Over Easter weekend, I will attempt one of the hardest endurance races in the UK.
187km. 77 portages. Failure is a real possibility.
But that is something I have chosen to take on.
This is the first leg of a wider 1,000km challenge I will complete between April and September, raising money for The Harrow Club.
The young people this supports have not chosen the challenges they are facing.

The Prize
The winner will receive lunch for two at The River Café in London, one of the city’s most iconic restaurants.
It sits just before the race finish line at Barn Elms, which made it feel like the perfect way to celebrate completing it. I am incredibly grateful to The River Café for supporting this draw.
The voucher is valid until 30 November 2026.
Why This Matters
This prize draw is about more than a single experience. It is a way to directly support the work of The Harrow Club and the young people who rely on it every day.
Based in West London, the charity provides a safe, consistent space for children and young people growing up in areas of significant inequality. Many face barriers that go far beyond what most of us experience day to day. The Harrow Club works with young people facing serious and complex challenges, including youth violence.
Through youth work, mentoring, creative programmes and safe spaces to simply be, the charity helps young people build confidence, feel seen, and find a path forward. For some, it is a place to go after school. For others, it is a lifeline.

Key dates & important information
The draw opens on 1 April 2026 and closes at 23:59 on 24 April 2026. Entries will not be accepted after this time.
The winner will be selected at random on 27 April 2026 by a member of The Harrow Club senior management team and contacted within 48 hours.
The draw is open to UK residents aged 18 and over. There is no cash alternative to the prize.
All net proceeds will be donated to The Harrow Club (registered charity 1054757) after unavoidable payment processing fees.
